RTL Donation Marathon: help alliance right in the middle of it

This year’s RTL Donation Marathon supported the help alliance project “iThemba” in South Africa

With the funds collected 24 hours a day from 21 to 22 November, the existing iThemba School Capricorn will be extended by a further building complex with 13 classrooms and two sanitary facilities. As soon as possible, another 140 children will be given the chance of a better future through a good school education. The cooperation partner of help alliance this year is Mastercard, which supports the project with 200.000 Euro, the donation target is 800.000€. Cross your fingers that it has been reached. Celebrity patron of the project is the well-known singer Beatrice Egli. Last Thursday evening she reported live in the studio at Wolfram Kons about her trip to South Africa, her experiences with the children and called on the audience to donate. Also present in the studio were Peter Bakenecker, Divisional President Germany and Switzerland Mastercard and the Managing Director of help alliance, Andrea Pernkopf.
