The ideas and possibilities to support help alliance and its worldwide projects are diverse. Whether it is baking Christmas cookies or cleaning out the wardrobe and donating the proceeds – there are no limits to your creativity. Please contact us if you would like to support help alliance with your own campaign. We are happy to welcome every action.

At Lufthansa Group locations in Germany (e.g. Hamburg, Frankfurt or Munich) and worldwide (e.g. Sofia, New York or Delhi), committed people have come together in help alliance communities to do good together. With their volunteer work, they support help alliance projects as well as local initiatives, for example through volunteering or fundraising activities.

As the aid organization of the Lufthansa Group, help alliance is the central point of contact in the area of Corporate Volunteering for all Group companies. Our goal is to use the diversity and skills of the employees within the Lufthansa Group to further develop the projects of help alliance.

To achieve this, we regularly check with our project coordinators whether and in which areas the projects require support. Together with various specialist departments, we implement programs in which the employees get involved on site and support the projects with their know-how. In this way, the projects receive professional and specific help in addition to financial support, and the employees gain important experience through their commitment – a win-win situation!

Many projects in the field of development cooperation are dependent on the support of volunteers. This is also true for some help alliance projects, but the general conditions (e.g. tasks, duration, preparation and follow-up, costs) vary greatly depending on the project country and partner organization. For this reason, help alliance currently does not coordinate such assignments. However, depending on your request we can contact the respective project coordinator and/or partner organization.
