Move4Good: Moving together for a good cause

For twelve days, colleagues around the world turned movement into real support: During Move4Good, they collected kilometers by walking, running, cycling, hiking and swimming. In total, 29,656.87 kilometers were submitted. As a result, help alliance will receive the full matching donation of 15,000 euros for projects worldwide.

More than 1,000 people took part – across 37 countries and more than 86 locations. Employees from 25 Lufthansa Group companies, 24 help alliance communities, four local partner companies and help alliance projects brought Move4Good to life and showed what can happen when many people move together.

There were many special moments along the way: Lufthansa Systems Poland in Gdańsk collected more than 6,000 kilometers with over 56 colleagues, young people from the help alliance project Aasraa Trust in India ran a total of 77 kilometers, and in Kenya, 42 Lufthansa employees joined colleagues from service partner Swissport for an airport walk. Move4Good was also visible at Porto Airport, where passengers were invited to collect kilometers for a good cause on stationary bikes before departure.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part, submitted their kilometers and helped carry Move4Good around the world. Every movement counted – and together, it became concrete support for help alliance projects.
