Global Goal fundraising marathon enters the second round!

The donations will benefit the help alliance project in Ghana

Global Goal is an association founded in 2014 by young people with the aim of bringing together people from different cultures through sport and raising funds to support disadvantaged children in their sporting and school education. Since many of the club’s members are Lufthansa employees, the connection to help alliance was quickly established and since last year Global Goal has been supporting the project Children of Atibie in Ghana. The proceeds from the Madrid Marathon were used to buy a minibus and to carry out various improvement measures.

The project ensures a good start in early childhood even for less privileged children whose parents could otherwise not afford to send their child to a kindergarten. The construction work for the kindergarten started in January 2010.

Step by step the building was completed and the children began to move in. However, there is still some work to be done to complete the sanitary and electrical installations and the playground.

In a few weeks the next event will take place: the Vienna City Marathon. Once again, many sport enthusiasts will take part in the run and collect donations. We would like to ask for your support. The participants will cover all the costs for participation, travel and accommodation themselves, so that your donations can be passed on 100% to the children in Atibie. At the end of the campaign the collected donations will be handed over to help alliance for the project.
