“Calendars of Hope” now available in Frankfurt
3-months-calendars for pick up in Frankfurt / help alliance appreciates donations
Committed Lufthansa colleagues in India, together with Lufthansa and help alliance, have launched the unique initiative “Calendar of Hope”. In a joint effort, those responsible in the Asia-Pacific region were able to realize the 2021 edition of their legendary calendar* despite the Corona crisis. What’s special this year, the calendars were issued as a thank-you gift as part of a fundraising campaign. Disadvantaged people around the world are the most affected by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and need our support more than ever. With the donations from this campaign, we are giving them the perspective of a better future and strengthening all our hopes of getting the global pandemic under control in 2021.
Until now, the calendars could only be ordered in the Asia-Pacific region, but now around 500 calendars have found their way to Frankfurt and are now also available there. Starting from Thursday, February 25, 2021, calendars can be picked up at the Ops Desk at the Lufthansa Base (Building BG2) at Frankfurt Airport. Regular opening hours are daily from 07:00 – 21:00. (Please note that the OPS Desk is located on Lufthansa’s premises and therefore only persons with access can pick up the calendars).
The calendars are available free of charge (while stocks last)! Of course we are happy if you support the work of help alliance with a donation.
*Note: Since the calendars were produced in India, they do not show the holidays in Germany, but the Indian holidays.

- with 15 Euro 50 children in India can get a meal
- with 25 Euro 250 children in Ghana can receive school materials
- with 50 Euro a family in Africa can be provided with basic medical care
