The seats come from the D-AIMB, which has been in service worldwide since 2010. In more than 46,700 flight hours, the aircraft covered approximately 70 to 80 million kilometers – equivalent to nearly 2,000 trips around the globe. As part of the modernization of the A380 fleet, the previous Business Class seats were removed and are now looking for a new home.

The auction offers a rare opportunity to acquire an original piece of Lufthansa tradition and aviation history. Whether as an extraordinary collector’s item, an eye-catcher in the office, or a special memento: each seat tells the story of millions of kilometers flown, countless journeys, and an aircraft that has become a symbol of modern long-haul flying for many people.
