And once again, the Lufthansa Young Network, the Nordstern Community and help alliance will be saying: “Three-two-one-yours” over the next five weeks. From 9 October, our joint charity auction “Merchandise4Good” will start on eBay. This time on an even larger scale than last year: more than 100 different items have been organised, reserved and even produced by the colleagues of the dedicated network for airline lovers.

This year’s auction highlights include seats from Lufthansa Economy and Business Class, various airline signs and very special wall shelves. “We were very lucky to receive sidewall panels from our supplier Diehl Aviation, which are normally installed in an A320 or A321,” says Sina Brömmelhörster, one of the initiators of the “Merchandise4Good” charity auction.

The auction for a good cause runs on eBay from 9 October to 13 November. Every Sunday, new items go online and can be bid on within seven days. “It’s definitely worth checking out the auction every week. Because we will spread the auction highlights like the seats, the coolest signs and the shelves over the weeks,” reveals Mareike Liebhoff, also the initiator of the auction.

The auction is aimed at all airline fans, worldwide. So feel free to share the link with your friends and acquaintances. The items will be shipped worldwide by DHL. Airline seats and sidewall panels can be delivered by freight forwarding. All shipping costs are to be paid by the buyer.

Last year, the “Merchandise4Good” auction was already a great success. The Nordstern Community raised a total of 6200 euros through the auction, which they donated on behalf of help alliance to Hanseatic Help, the largest clothing charity in Europe. This year’s proceeds will go to the help alliance projects “A safe home for traumatized children” in Buenos Aires and “Inclusion rocks for Everyone” in Hamburg.
