Lufthansa Technik donates to the Sunshine Project

The donation for the help alliance project in India was collected at the annual family festival

Colleagues from Lufthansa Technik in Frankfurt collected almost 1250 euros at the tombola of their annual family celebration for the benefit of the help alliance. The FRA T/FG 6 team, Fleet Services, is supporting the Sunshine Project in Delhi, India with the donation.

Since 2002, Kuku and Priti Arora have been caring for street children in the Sunshine Project, in order to offer them an opportunity through education to break the cycle of poverty on their own. In addition, the couple offers the children a home with food, medical care and a lot of affection.

In the beginning, the tailor couple cared for 17 children – now they care for 250 children between the ages of five and 21.

The project has been supported by the Lufthansa Group aid organisation since 2009.
