“My life has changed forever”
The iThemba project coordinators report on their commitment
“Education gives children the future and gives them hope,” says Christian Haude, who together with Susanne French is the project manager for the help alliance project in Cape Town. The word iThemba comes from the Zulu language and means hope – a feeling that many children often don’t know well due to the difficult living conditions in the townships of Cape Town. “That’s why the idea of building a school was so obvious,” says Susanne French about the project, which has been supported by help alliance since 2006.
In the video, Susanne and Christian explain how their lives have changed through the project.
