Two new projects in Germany

Since this year help alliance supports two projects in Germany.

In Flörsheim, help alliance supports its long-time partner Stern des Südens in a project that helps children from migrant families to learn the language. Already now it can be observed that this project has positive effects not only on the children but on their whole family.

A mentoring project is being developed in Hamburg in cooperation with basis und woge e.V. and Lufthansa Technik. In a preparatory class at the State Vocational School for Construction Engineering, the volunteer mentors will support the young migrants during their final year. In this way important foundations can be laid for further vocational training.

The new training center in Devikinme, around 20 kilometers east of the Togolese capital Lomé, was inaugurated with a festive ceremony on 6 February. The help alliance project offers high-quality training for up to 100 young people.
