TV tip: help alliance and RTL support the iThemba Primary School / Donation marathon to start on Thursday

On 21 and 22 November the RTL Spendenmarathon 2019 will take place and also this year a project of the help alliance will be supported: The iThemba primary school in Capricorn, one of the townships around Cape Town in South Africa. More than 2,500 children from socially and economically disadvantaged families who have no school place live in this suburb. After the iThemba Primary School was able to offer 105 children the opportunity of primary school education at the beginning of 2018, the number of pupils was increased to 200 by adding another group.

This success convinced the “Stiftung RTL -Wir helfen Kindern” especially and the application of the help alliance for this year’s donation marathon was again accepted. With the help of the help alliance and the RTL Spendenmarathon more and more children can be given access to education.
