Child Protection Guideline from help alliance
The child protection guideline provides uniform and mandatory rules for the interaction with children
Children all over the world are at risk of being exploited and taken advantage of. Sexual abuse, verbal abuse, physical or emotional violence are just a few examples of the risks to which children are exposed worldwide.
As a help alliance, we see it as our responsibility to ensure that girls and boys are protected from these dangers in all areas of our organization. A key measure for putting child protection into practice is the drafting of a Child Protection Guideline, in which the values, vision and understanding of the scope of child protection at help alliance are defined in a binding manner.
The Child Protection Guideline applies to all help alliance employees as well as to volunteer project leaders, volunteers and visitors. It serves as a valid guideline for these persons and clarifies their responsibilities and rules of conduct when dealing with children.
