help alliance is the non-profit organization of the Lufthansa Group that has been supporting educational projects for children, adolescents, and young adults around the world since 1999. Volunteer project leaders from the Lufthansa Group work together with local partners to empower young people and help them build a self-determined future. With more than 700 million people, Europe is the most densely populated continent in the world. On average, 65 people live per square kilometer. Despite the high standard of living in Northern and Western Europe, poverty still exists across the continent. Children from low-income and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds in particular face major challenges in the school system, as they often receive little support at home and their families cannot afford additional educational programs.

help alliance projects offer targeted language support for children and young people with migrant backgrounds, giving them access to both formal and informal education. Through practical career orientation and mentoring, we help young people in Europe recognize their strengths and confidently find their path into training and society. In doing so, we create real opportunities for integration and participation where they are most urgently needed.
