The art of flying can be bought

As diverse as our passengers on board, as diverse are the interests and skills of our in-flight staff. You can see this for yourself from 30 October to 3 November at the BG II.

On the ground floor to the right of the main entrance, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. the two flight attendants Franziska Andersen and Yvonne Weick and the pilots Florian Andersen and Robert Schönherr are exhibiting their creative works and products, and they are also for sale of course.

By purchasing the handicraft pieces (which include paper art such as greeting cards with aviation designs, jewellery by friendsydesign and stickers for aviation fans as well as high-quality photographs and limited edition aircraft or Advent calendars) you also support the help alliance and their work. “Last year, the interest our creative work generated during the Bye-Bye-Bobby Week was overwhelming. This year, we want to offer our products again and do something for a good cause at the same time”, says pilot Schönherr. “The reason why we selected the aid organisation of Lufthansa is obvious”, flight attendant Franziska Andresen adds.

Other than buying some Christmas presents, visitors can find out about the 35 global projects of help alliance and Payroll Giving, the voluntary donation scheme. Other aviation memorabilia, such as lanyards and stickers, are available for a small donation. So save the week from 30 October to 3 November in your calendar!
