Safe-House in South Africa

A blessing especially for children with disabilities

The privately run orphanage, the Safehouse in Johannesburg, offers shelter to children who are abandoned by their families because they are unable to care for them. Often this fate affects children with disabilities, as they need special attention and are stigmatised on top of it.

The two Munich flight attendants are particularly concerned about these children and yet they are also real problem children. Their care and support is particularly costly and constantly challenges the institution to raise the necessary funds. Each month, 510 euros must be raised for the three children so that they can be supported at a specialized school for the disabled.
